On December 6, 2009, US Marines made their first official return to the Ewa battlefield- since 1952, when the base closed, to honor the fallen and wounded US Marines of the December 7, 1941 air attack. This historic event was witnessed by over two hundred people representing local and national veterans, historic and civic organizations. |
