The original front gate entrance to MCAS Ewa is still there and the gate and roadway are owned today by the Hawaiian Railway Society in Ewa. This roadway was strafed by Japanese Zeros on the morning of December 7, 1941, at around 7:55 AM and then strafed again by Vals returning from their bombing runs over Pearl Harbor up to around nearly 10 AM. |
