The original front gate entrance to MCAS Ewa is still

there and the gate and roadway are owned today by the

Hawaiian Railway Society in Ewa.


This roadway was strafed by Japanese Zeros on the

morning of December 7, 1941, at around 7:55 AM and

then strafed again by Vals returning from their bombing runs over Pearl Harbor up to around nearly 10 AM.
