going back to the Ewa Plantation era.


It pre-dated todays

Onelua Beach Park

and had wood and

concrete picnic tables and a grass field for

playing sports on.

December 7  Ewa Field  May Be Destroyed!

Eyewitness Ramsay Hishinuma was then a young 16 year old Ewa Village resident, camping with His Waipahu High School basketball team friends at Hau Bush (Onelua Beach Park) on the morning of December 7, 1941.


They were getting ready to make breakfast when they heard some loud booming sounds coming from the direction of Pearl Harbor...
